One of Laramie's Best...and One of Our Favorites

UW Geological Museum....I am excited to see our little man learn more and more and his interests grow and mature.  When we got to the museum, he whispered a question to the host: How can Allosaurus and T-Rex not be the same?  Meaning=how do you tell the difference between the two dinosaurs...both being carnivores with super sharp teeth that look a lot alike.  One way is size but the other is the # of toes each has. We learned that Allosaurus has 3 and T-Rex has 4.  Van first thought their difference was because one of them has bumps above his eyes and the other doesn't.  I called them horns at first, mistakenly.  He quickly corrected me and said, "they are not horns! They are two frills mama" (duh mom).
