Vanism

Van loves examining all of the holiday decorations that his grandparents have. Here is a Vanism from each beloved 2nd home...

Proudly, the little guy brings a yellow cone-shaped, fruit filled object to his Papa. Papa says, "Well what is that?" Grandma can't think of the word....tries but can't...Van says in an "are you serious" tone: Grandma! Dat's a cornucopia!

At MorMor and Papa's: Van gently swings an ornament on the tree with his little finger. I tell him that it sure is a pretty ornament and he says: Yep it's Mary and her Wife-men. MorMor admitted he might have missed something in her explanation :)

Scaredy Cats

Van and Brett riding Uncle Mark's gator on the farm...

Van says, "Hey! Let's chase the cats and honk at them...then they can be scared...scaredy cats!" The cats fled as quickly as possible!
